The Career Guidance and Placement Cell (CGPU) at the College is an indispensable interface between students and the corporate world. Our goal is to cover the gap between academic education and industry demands by facilitating students with the support, tools, and opportunities necessary to establish fruitful careers.

Placement Activity 2024 - 2025

70% eligible students in CS, EC, & EEE of 2024-25 batch are placed in leading MNCs with starting salary of 4LPA. Many off campus drives were scheduled.

Functions of CGPU

- Imparts student with necessary skills through training in aptitude, technical areas, soft skills, and interview techniques.
- Conduct campus recruitment drives with well-established national and international organizations.
- To offer opportunities for internships providing real-world exposure.

Placement Committee

Interland Placement Drive

Interland placement drive held at College of Engineering, Attingal on 01 March 2025. Students from College of Engineering, Attingal as well as College of Engineering, Kottarakara participated in the drive. About 50 students from College of Engineering Attingal and 45 students from College of Engineering Kottarakara attended the drive.

21 Day Coding Challenge Report

The Career Guidance and Placement Unit, College of Engineering Attingal conducted a 21-day coding challenge for the third-year students from October 27,2022 to November 17, 2022. This activity was intended to help the students improve their coding skills by practicing questions from platforms like GeeksforGeeks, LeetCode etc. The batch was divided into two tracks named Rookie and Gladiator of which the former consisted of easy level questions and the latter comprising questions from topics asked in technical interviews of product-based companies. The submitted codes were evaluated on various parameters to decide the winners. One winner from each track and consistent performers from both tracks were rewarded. The results are as follows:

Award Ceremony

College of Engineering, Attingal was sanctioned a new UG branch, in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning). At the inauguration session of the above said conducted on the Career Guidance and Placement Unit felicitated 6 students who were placed from the Batch of 2023 till that date. The award was distributed by the Hon. Ward Counsellor in the presence of the college Principal and other dignitaries.
